Cylindrical Roll Polishing

Neo operates advanced roll polishing equipment capable of producing exceptionally smooth and uniform working surfaces. Mirror finishes with surface roughness values as low as Ra 0.02 µm (0.8 µin) are part of our standard capabilities.

The roll surface directly influences the quality of the processed material. Even microscopic scratches or grinding marks can affect friction, material release, coating quality, or be transferred onto the finished product.

Our polishing process removes fine surface imperfections and creates a consistent finish across the entire roll face. However, the smoothest surface is not always the correct solution. Each roll is therefore polished according to the customer's specification and application, from controlled technical finishes to highly reflective mirror surfaces.
